The Rhodes graciously hosted our pre-trip meeting, and we thank them for their wonderful hospitality! Notes from the "business" meeting part:
Host Church in New Orleans: St. Matthew UMC in Metarie, LA (a New Orleans suburb)
Be at CHF at 9:30 on Sunday - departure moved up to 11:30 am
Work days will start and end earlier than originally scheduled
Make sure you have hats, sunscreen, and closed toe shoes for worksite
3 or 4 meals NOT provided and are at your own expense - these will likely be fast food stops while traveling, with the exception of July 4th in New Orleans
