Settled In For The Night

Looking at the Jott transcriptions (which are automatically transcribed from my voice message), its pretty funny. New Oreland instead of New Orleans, are we instead of RV, and my favorite, a mail stop instead of a meal stop. Still, its a pretty cool tool. Remember, you can click on the little speaker icon in the post to hear the actual message!

We are settled in at the church here in Metairie, a suburb of New Orleans. We had a light supper, and soon will have evening devotionals and lights out. Our volunteer orientation and first day on the worksite comes in a just a few short hours, and hopefully we all get good sleep, because we will need it!

There has been some wonderful fellowship and discussions during our travels, and we look for that to continue to grow as we share God's love here in the Big Easy through the sweat of our brows and spirit of our hearts!

Grace and peace,
Jeff Yearout
